It’s officially Autumn! To me, autumn means fresh paper and stationery for school and the smell of crisp cool mornings. My goal in life is making everything as cozy as possible, so it’s only natural for me to be excited about this season.
As I’m writing this, we’re in the midst of a heat wave. It’s the end of September and it’s currently 31 degrees outside — utter madness.
We’ve only recently moved to Ottawa, so I’m trying to get motivated to leave the house and explore a little bit. I fell in love with Halifax after I took the time to make friends and have mini adventures, and I know the key to finding a piece of home in this new city is to do the same.
I wrote down a list in my bullet journal of little activities I want to do this Autumn and thought I’d share it with you here. Read it now, pin it for later and let me know if you make the time to do these things!
Writing this list made me think of the lovely afternoon I spent in the countryside last Autumn with my best friends last year. I wrote a blog post called Fall, Friends and Fields of Flowers if you’d like to read it.
And to my wonderful friends from Halifax, I miss you terribly. Let’s find time to meet up for adventures someday soon.
What are you doing this Autumn?
PS: Does anyone else think the word Autumn is so much more romantic than Fall?
