
Another flip of the calendar! Everyone I meet is surprised that July flew by so quickly and I have the sneaking suspicion that August will be just the same. Here are a few things I hope to accomplish this month!
01 | Follow the advice of my naturopath
It’s taken me almost four years but I’ve finally started working on my health. I’ve been dealing with a string of digestive issues and headaches for so long that it almost feels like a version of normal. My new naturopath has assured me that it isn’t and is working with me to find the route cause of my symptoms so that I can live my life! It feels so good to know that someone is actually listening to me — and even better that they have solutions to my problems. I just have to put in the work to follow my treatment plan!
02 | Work on my freelance business
I’ve been so busy with work that I haven’t put any time into my freelance business! I’d love to spend some time this month updating my portfolio and re-evaluating the work I’d like to do. In Ottawa, I worked primarily on social media management and the occasional article. I would love to work with some local businesses to help them with their digital impact. 03 | Plan time with friends
Training a new puppy is no joke! It’s hard work and a lot of the time I feel like staying home when I have downtime instead of seeing my friends. It might sound so simple, but I would love to plan something once a week with friends as a way to get out of the house.
