Today, October 15th, marks the day I finaaaaallly finished editing all our vlogs from Europe this summer. In total, we filmed and uploaded 23 videos this summer! I decided that I wanted to vlog when I started planning the trip a couple years ago. I thought about how wonderful it would be to look back on the memories we’d made and I’m so grateful that I followed through with my goal.
**Soooo I totally wrote this piece to go up last Friday… and then my website went down so it didn’t publish! I figured I’d put it up anyways because these things are still relevant**
What a week it’s been. I’m more than happy that it’s finally the weekend — and a long weekend at that! Wishing all my fellow Canadians a very happy Thanksgiving! Make sure you hug your loved ones.
Finding the words to accurately describe Santorini has been at the top of my to-do list for nearly three months. It was hands-down our favourite destination from the whole trip, and I’ve tried to write this blog post more times than I can count.
In my last post, I talked about elevating your IKEA furniture to create a space that reflects my style. But today, I wanted to talk accents! You’ve finally invested in most of the furniture pieces you need to function and now it’s time to move on to my favourite part.
Reading was a huge part of my childhood. I would get so immersed in stories that I’d walk home from school reading, or try to sneak a chapter in during class under my desk. My parents always encouraged us to make reading a priority — unless it was time to practice piano and then I didn’t have a choice between Harry Potter and Mozart (Mozart always seemed to win).
It’s officially Autumn! To me, autumn means fresh paper and stationery for school and the smell of crisp cool mornings. My goal in life is making everything as cozy as possible, so it’s only natural for me to be excited about this season.
As I’m writing this, we’re in the midst of a heat wave. It’s the end of September and it’s currently 31 degrees outside — utter madness.
