I’ve got another tour coming your way today! Ever since I found out that we were going to be moving, I decided that I wanted to go around our little house and take pictures so I can remember this place. Over the course of the year it became my home and although there is more I wish I could do to it, I am happy with how it looks right now and am happy to share some pictures with you. This is how I put our little bathroom together to make a stylish, organized and cozy rental bathroom.
Happy Easter everyone! I hope you all have a wonderful day with family eating lots of chocolate. That’s my plan at least! In the spirit of Easter, I (of course) had an amazing time decorating my dining room with flowers and many easter eggs. It was so much fun and I’m happy with the result!
A couple weeks back, I did an Office Space Round Up post, and promised that I would write a desk accessory post to go along with it. Well here it is! I think the accessories I’ve chosen are pretty self explanatory… Every single blogger seems to have a pair of gold scissors and a cute stapler on their desk these days and I can’t even say that I am one bit ashamed to hop on this bandwagon. I will genuinely use them, which is why they are on my list. I have a sketchbook that I draw in from time to time, but I’m always cutting out pictures from magazines to paste into it for inspiration. I have an envelope filled with pictures that I want to incorporate into designs, and I find it so relaxing to sit down and play scrapbook like I used to as a kid. Long story short… I definitely need gold scissors! …Right..?
I’ve done a few posts about my bedroom, but I thought I would do one more post as an overview to show you how it looks when it is all together. There are still so many things I wish I could add.. Like a large fluffy rug, more art on the walls, and some comfy pillows (to name a few). But I’m moving in just over a month, and it looks like I’m going to have to start packing up instead of adding more decorations.
I was flying to Atlanta for my Christmas break. It had been a really rough morning. I was exhausted and grumpy and all I wanted was a Tim Horton’s breakfast sandwich and a hot cup of earl grey tea with milk and a dash of honey. But I was late, the lines were long and I found myself running through the airport to board my plane, making it right as they called my zone up for boarding.
Lately I have been completely obsessed with office/desk spaces. I think it’s probably because I’m tired of my current setup and am craving an update. Which is coming in a few months! When Adam and I move into our new apartment I am getting a desk makeover. I really wish we had enough space in our apartment to have a full on office, but as long as I get a functional (and beautiful) desk all to myself I will be happy! The move isn’t for a few months, but obviously I already have ideas on what I want.
Welcome to Sincerely, Rowan! My little spot on the internet that I’ve been working on for the past two years. Although I’ve been writing on here for a while, I finally feel ready to share it with the rest of the world.
I am not the biggest fan of Winter. But I am the kind of person that tries to find little happy moments in every day, and I thought that it would be nice to share those things. We are halfway through winter in Halifax and I am definitely feeling the winter blues. While sometimes it is hard to get out of the blues, it is nice to have a little reminder of the little things that make days a little bit better. These are just a few of my ideas!
