I am very excited to announce that I am starting a YouTube channel! I was hoping to use this blog to showcase my decorating process for my new house, but I decided that I wanted do more than just write about it. My new channel will feature styling and organization videos, DIY projects, and tips and tricks about styling on a student budget!
Month: September 2015
When I was in residence, my friends and I used to get together to make costumes for parties and decorations for our dorm rooms. We called these happy gatherings “Crafternoons” and the name still lives on two years later! My roommates and I have been talking about bringing more plants into the house for a while now, and we finally went out and bought some last weekend. I had such a lovely time drinking tea and potting these plants with my friends. I believe we managed to put at least one plant in every room, and it really brightened the place up!
The end of the summer has come and gone. I’m just barely a week into classes and my free time is already being swallowed up by work and assignments. Summer really was too good to be true. However, there were so many high points this summer that I really cannot be too sad that it is over.
I have to say that my favourite part of the whole summer was our trip to the Cabot Trail in Cape Breton. I was blown away by how unbelievably stunning it was.. The entire trip was a series of mind blowing views and many, many stops along the way.
