I’ve come across a lot of “101 things in 1001 days” posts lately and really love the idea of setting a deadline for your bucket list. These goals are supposed to be realistic which is why I’ve only chosen to write down a few big trips that I plan on going on, or have been planning for a while instead of just listing off all the countries I hope to visit (which is an incredibly long list).
There have been so many ideas that have crossed my mind lately; little things that I want to try, and places I want to explore. I can’t even imagine where I’ll be in 1001 days, or what I will have accomplished before then. The only thing I know for certain is that I will have graduated university! Even that sounds crazy even though my graduation is only a year away. I don’t even know where I’ll be living in 2019. I love thinking about the future and hope that this list will help me focus the next few years of my life.

Everyone keeps telling me that your 20s are such an amazing time of your life; there are endless opportunities to grab hold of. Time should not be spent wishing for things to happen but spent experiencing all that life has to offer. We all strive to live a full life but spend so much time being unproductive or wishing our lives away and I am incredibly guilty of this! I do not call myself a chronic daydreamer for no reason…
I want to look back on these years and know that I have truly lived; that I pushed down my fears and jumped headfirst into my 20s with courage and grace.
I feel like lists such as this have the potential to overwhelm me. So rather than get all hung up about finishing every little detail on this list, I hope it gives me some goals to accomplish and a reason to try things that might scare me… Because who knows where I’ll end up in 2.75 years. I guess only time will tell.
What is on your 101 things list?
